Recommendation: The Weenie Beenie is great for quick and delicious take-out of classic American food items. We particularly enjoy the half smoke, cheeseburger royal, and onion rings. Even though the Weenie Beenie is tiny, the long list of food options and Americana charm have allowed the restaurant to grow into a staple of the community.

History: The Weenie Beenie was opened in 1954 by brothers Carl and Bill Stanton. Bill “Weenie Beenie” Stanton was a successful billiards player who used his winnings to start the business. The Weenie Beenie is also informally credited with creating the half smoke. The reputation of this Local Food Landmark has even reached the music industry, where a song off of the Foo Fighters first album was titled after this LFL.
